MITRE ATT&CK EVALUATION

Interpreting the 2025 Results

The annual MITRE Enterprise ATT&CK Evaluation is widely regarded as one of the cybersecurity industry’s most rigorous and independent assessments of how security technologies perform against real-world attack techniques. Rather than relying on theoretical testing or vendor claims, the evaluation simulates realistic adversary behavior to assess detection and response capabilities under operational conditions.

In the 2025 evaluation, participating platforms were tested against sophisticated attack sequences modeled after a People’s Republic of China–aligned espionage group and a financially motivated cybercriminal collective. These scenarios reflect the types of threats organizations must be prepared to detect, investigate, and contain in modern environments.

Join SilverSky and cybersecurity partner Cynet for a practical discussion of the 2025 MITRE ATT&CK Evaluation results. This session will focus on how to interpret the findings, what they reveal about detection and response approaches across vendors, and how organizations and partners can use these insights to make informed, defensible security decisions.

What you’ll learn

This session will help clarify key questions, including:

      • What makes the MITRE ATT&CK Evaluation methodology distinct and why it matters
      • What’s new in the 2025 evaluation and how the testing scope has evolved
      • How to interpret vendor results without relying on marketing narratives
