# SilverSky Appoints Cary Conrad as Chief Executive Officer

SilverSky today announced the appointment of [Cary Conrad](https://www.linkedin.com/in/caryconrad/) as Chief Executive Officer. Conrad has a long track record of executive leadership in cybersecurity and most recently served as President of SilverSky. In his new role, he will lead the company’s next phase of operational growth and strategic execution, with continued focus on software innovation and data science to strengthen SilverSky’s ability to serve customers.

Conrad has deep roots within the organization. He was one of the original founders of a company that later became SilverSky and has played a central role in the company’s recent technical evolution. As President, he helped lead the development of SilverSky’s **Lightning MXDR platform** and strengthened the company’s position within compliance-driven markets.

SilverSky traces its origins to the late 1990s and has spent nearly three decades supporting regulated and high-consequence organizations across the United States. Over that time, the company has built a reputation for operational resilience, regulatory alignment, and disciplined security execution.

“SilverSky has always been built on operational discipline and long-term trust,” said Cary Conrad, CEO of SilverSky. “Many of our customers operate under formal regulatory and audit pressures. They require clarity, accountability, and measurable risk reduction. Our focus remains steady: operate effectively, strengthen security posture over time, and execute with consistency. We will continue using advanced analytics and AI-driven systems to improve detection, response, and service for our customers.”

As part of this leadership transition, [Richard Dobrow](https://www.linkedin.com/in/richarddobrow/) will move from Chief Executive Officer to **Chairman of the Board**. In this role, he will focus on governance, long-term strategic oversight, and investor alignment.

“This transition ensures continuity while sharpening executive focus,” Dobrow said. “Cary has demonstrated the leadership and operational rigor required to guide SilverSky forward. My transition to Board Chair allows me to concentrate fully on governance and long-term investment strategy as the company enters its next stage of growth.”
